Sorry to hear this. But I think our hormones really "go crazy" for while after WLS. I'm blaming my decreased sex drive on the hormones. Also, my pre-menstrual days have been rougher, but are becoming somewhat predictable. I usually have 1 or 2 days of feeling like an alien being has inhabited my body (crying, depression, near-suicidal thoughts) then the period comes, and I have some bad cramps (front and back) for the first day or so, then pretty much back to normal (periods usually last 5-7 days). Try to keep track of what's happening to you each month for a few months, then if it's becoming unbearable, I would talk to your gyno and see if there's something that can help you out.
