Question:
Anyone had surgery in Mexico?

I had to change my surgery date and place. I just wanted to know had anyone had surgery in Ensenada Mexico. I am trying to set my date there for March to have surgery. I feel comfortable with them from talking with them. Just wanted to know if anyone that has been there to have surgery had any good reviews.    — LaKesha H. (posted on January 21, 2005)

LaKesha - I had my surgery with Dr. Aguirre in Ensenada. I'm 19 months post-op, doing great, at goal. I have had no complications and can't say enough good things about Dr. A and his team. Please feel free to check out my profile and/or email me for more information.

I am a five weeks postop of Dr. Aguirre's. I feel the same as Paula. He is a spectacular surgeon and I felt very comfortable with him. I have had zero complications or regrets. I also had surgery with Dr. Aguirre 14 months ago. I am down 180 pounds and would still like to lose 15-20 pounds more but even if I don't the surgery was amazingly successful. He is a super surgeon. The only downside is that there is not any after care so make sure you plan and arrange on someone to see to your needs medically once everything is over and done with. Good luck on your journey.
