Question:
Happy New Year!!!

I just wanted to thank Eric, the site doctor, and all the others making this site such a success. I have enjoyed and learned so much from all the posts.. My wish for all of you as members of this site is to follow your dreams and make this New Year the best ever. This New year is the beginning of my new life. A Happier and healthier new life. I researched this surgery through this website for 6 months before I made my decision to go for it..then another 3 months getting the elevation appointment and first consultation, then surgery on 12/8/99. To all the ones that already have had surgery...thank you with all my heart for all your input and help. And to all the ones still contemplating ..The best of luck and in what ever you decide, for me this was the best decision I ever made.. I'm still on liquid/puree diet and enjoying every sip or nibble knowing this too will soon pass.. Life is wonderful with hope and this site gave me that hope, for that I will be forever grateful.... You beat me to the punch, I was just about to write a similar post! Thank you all, Eric, Dr's and all the wonderful people on the site, who've made it possible for us to support one another in this way! When I move to Kansas City 3.5 years ago, I lost my complete weight loss surgery support system. We had a monthly group as well as our monthly follow-ups with the surgeon and the psycologist and I missed that horribly!! Thankfully this site came along just when I needed it most!!! :) Here's to a wonderful New Year and much success and happiness to everyone!! Happy 2000!
