Question:
Anyone out there 50, 5'2 and 400lbs? I'd like to hear from you.

I'd like to read about and see pictures of anyone that has started at my size and age I'm 50 years old and weigh 400.. im 5'2" are there any profiles out there like mine? Please let me know.. I'm soon to have open RNY surgery in March.. Thank you    — itsmekaren (posted on February 10, 2003)

I'm sort of your size and age. I'm 48, 5'2", 350 lbs. I'll be having an open RNY with gallbladder removal this Friday. Good luck to you!

I'm 44, 5'4" and was 427 at the time of my surgery. I don't have a before picture (I didn't like getting my picture taken). But there is a picture on my profile of me in December when I was 301. Now 275 and shrinking...JR (open RNY 07/17 -152 pounds)

Hi, I am 45 yrs old, 5'2" and weighed 420lbs when I had my surgery on Oct.10, 2002. Its only been 4 months and I have already lost 115lbs. I came through surgery just fine, although the doctors said I would probabaly have complications. 3 weeks after my WLS (Lap RNY) I had to back into surgery and have my gall bladder removed. I also came through that surgery fine. I'm sorry that I do not have any pictures on my profile because I don't have a scanner to send them through. I hope I have helped you out somewhat though.
