April 21st is when it all begins....

I have a date and hope someone out there does, too. I will undergo RNY surgery on Monday, April 21st, 2008. My liquid diet starts in a week on April 7th. I would love to keep in touch with anyone who is having their surgery on or near that date. Wish me luck!

good luck me too on the 21st i keep hearing about people doing a liquid diet up to one month before surgery . im wondering why. did you have to lose weight before hand i di 10 % of my bod weight which was hard but i di almostthat. so again wishing you good luck there are quite a few people going on the 21st

I will start my liquid diet 2 weeks prior to surgery per the surgeon's orders. I have lost about 25 pounds on my own in the last couple of months. I've been exercising more to get in shape for the surgery and hope to lose at least another 10-15 pounds in the next 3 weeks. Good luck to you and keep in touch!

I just got my date and it is the 21st as well!!! I am excited and nervous at the same time!!!
