Last minute nerves

I am just finishing up the last few items at home such as groceries for the family, laundry done, etc before I head out for the three hour drive to the hospital.  I will stay in a hotel tonight and be checking in at 5:00 am.  Currently enjoying my diluted cranberry juice and a cup of chicken broth on my clear liquid diet.  Good luck to all of you that have surgery today, tomorrow and Wednesday since I probably won't be back on until Thursday when I come home.

I hope you get to see this before you fall asleep(can you actually sleep?).  You will be in my prayers, I'll be waking up when you're checking in.  Best wishes and congrats.  I'll be in your shoes this time next week- my surgery is on the 14th.  You'll do great, see you on the "Loser's Bench!!"  Take Care.
