10 Days Postop-What type of weight loss is to be expected?

 I had my surgery on May 6th and I have lost 12 pounds since the surgery.  I was just wondering if any of you would like to share what you have lost in the first weeks after surgery.  

I had surgery(open RNY) on 5-5 I went into the hospital at 242, left the hospital at 253, as of this morning I am at 227. That is -26 in since surgery.

 Are you still on liquids?

I am on a combo of liquids and mushies. Just started incorperating the mushies into my diet slowly.

I had my surgery May 7 and I've generally been losing a pound a day, but I seem be in a bit of a stall already.  I'm down 13 pounds, but it's stayed at that for the last 3 days.  I just got my period yesterday, so I'm wondering if that has something to do with it. I'm still on liquids, too for another week at least.
You're doing great!  Remember everyone loses at different rates.  12lbs in a week and a half is awesome!  Keep it up!

I am in the same position - I had surgery May 4 and have lost 12 pounds since then, but nothing the last two days.

Pre surgery weight 232

Post surgery weight 241

Current weight 221

So pre surgery 11 lbs lost post surgery 20 lbs lost. 

i am 15 days post op and have lost 19 lbs since surgery. 15 of that was in the first week. You are doing great!

i am 1 week post op and down 16 pounds
