My date is August 23rd!

Hello everyone. I am new to this site so I apologize in advace if I sound lame. Im a little over a week on my pre op diet and so far I have lost 11 lbs. I am scheduled to have a filter put in on 8/13 and then my surgery on 8/23. I am nervous and excited all at once. Has anyone else had the filter put in?

Congrats on your date. I know what you mean about the scared and excited thing. But you know the funny thing is i don't really feel that scared. I think maybe it's God giving me a peace. I think it will set in when I go to see my surgeon on the 9th. Is a filter for blood clots? Hi Selina, My surgery date is Aug 21st. I'm having the filter put in on Aug 20th. Its going to be the removal one since I'm only 25 years old. I am neverous about it let me know how yours go and good luck with everything.
