Dixie Stampede Homestyle Cream of Vegetable soup

3 T margarine

1/2 t onion powder

1/2 t garlic powder

1 t corn syrup

simmer above 1 minute (do not burn)

Add

3 T flour

1/4 t white pepper

1/2 t salt

1/2 c chicken broth

1 1/2 c water

3/4 c cooked veggies, chopped

Simmer 3 minutes

Add 1 pint 1/2 and 1/2, simmer until disired consistency, stir constantly. Do not boil

That looks fast and yummy EXCEPT - I refuse to have margarine in the house, yucky.
