Surgery Date Scheduled and Question About Surgery Costs!

My surgery date for open RNY is December 15, 2003. If you are from Mississippi, and you've had this type of surgery, could you please drop me a line and let me know what the hospital bills are going to look like. Thanks!

Hey Jennifer, I am pre-op and don't have any answers for your question. Partly because I haven't been through it yet and partly because I don't know what your insurance, if any will do. Word has it that in MS, total costs vary from $35,000 to $75,000. I imagine it depends on comorbidities and types of doctors you are refered to in the process. BUT....
