Very sad with Surgery and need to vent?

I had my lap band on 12/12/2003 and I do not know if with depresion or what I have been eating not loosing weight. I stil have not had my fill called my docter they got me in sooner. But it's like why did I go do this if nothing is happening i still feel weak know more, I know it has to be self control on my side. But it's just like why I can eat everything for some reason I think it slipped becouse when I first got out i threw up everything and they told me it wouldn't slip, Very sad and confused...

Lorena, I had full gastric bypass surgery, so I'm not familiar with the process of the lap band. But I do understand the depression. I have been on a plateau now for 2 months. It takes some people time for their bodies to adjust to the changes. Try to look at teh positive side and keep watching your diet. This surgery is only a tool, we still have to watch what and when we eat. Hope this helps. Kim
