I have one DOCTOR  supervised visit and 2 dietician is that enough or do I need all three from a dietician.Can't get a hold of the insurance person @ Doctor Pohls keep missing her.

I have bcbc access New England and  I was told 3 dietitians visit,  Good Luck not sure if i really helped.  its so frustrationg trying to get info from them at times.

I have the same insurance as you and I was told 3 doctors visits and 3 dietician visits in 3 consecutive months.  I had to wait on my surgery date to get the dietician visits done in March, April, and May.  Good luck!

You need 3 dietitian visits. I started my journey back in November and saw the dietitian once then they changed it and nobody told me! That has caused a delay in all my testing, which is now finally done! Keep on the Dr. office to be sure you have all that is required. You also have to attend support groups also,

November WOW ....that's a looong wait. Did you get a surgery date yet?

Did I tell you I have my date? July 25! I have been so excited I think I forgot to tell you!
Once they have approval you will get all your appointments.
Keep us posted and keep on the office staff. I am waiting for my pre op testing appointment should have it next week.
I have my pre op class appointment on 7/18 and pre op appointment with Dr. V on 7/21.

I hate to say I am a little jealous...wink wink. Good luck and I will be praying for you . Make sure one of your post-op walks is to the computer to keep us up to date!

Not yet, go to the Dr. July 5. Hope I can set a date then, but he may have me lose weight first. (I am just preparing myself for that just in case!) lol

 The new rules with healthmate are 3 nutrition appointments.  I also need to have 6 weeks of psych (group) classes and 1 month of proven supervised diet .  (ie: w/w, nutrisystem, etc).   I'm hoping to finish all my appointments so I can submit for a revision approval for sometime in September/October.  I have the band and hate hate hate it...
