Question from Minnesota

Hi! I am scheduled to have an Open RNY on August 10 wth Dr. Peter O'Brian at Sioux Valley in Sioux Falls. Has anyone had this same procedure done with Dr. O'Brian? If so, what was his pre-op requirements, post-op requirements and what was your healing time? I am a little nervous about the large incision and any infection or ruptures. Thank you for your time! Emily- Dr. O'Brien's office is great at answering questions, all you have to do is call and they get back to you very fast. I am scheduled for Lap-Band July 20th, hope all goes well for you. Katie

I"m having Lap-Band with Dr. OBrien on the 5th of August, so I'm sure you're just as nervous and excited as I am as your surgery date gets closer!!
