That is so awesome!!  I just read another post where her cost, with insurance, was $5000!!  I mean, I didn't pay a whole lot more than that being self-pay!

My bill is ging to be $500 as a copay for the hospital stay. But the surgery itself is 100% covered. I thought THAT was cheap LOL

My co pay all together counting doctor's visit co-pay and the nut. co-pay for the year I worked to have my surgery was about $3,500 .  But, that is so much less than selfpay, I am thrilled and thankful as well.  And, it was spread out over a year, so it wasn't as hard as it might seem.

WOW!  That's cheaper than a tank of gas!  My insurance was billed $35,000.  Of course they only paid about $8,000 and my part was about $1000 plus my deductible.

Oh wow that is awesome. Did you have it done with a civilian surgeon or at a MTF? I can't wait to see my a bill like that.
