Large pills

Just like many other doctors, mine prescribed Prilosec after surgery. But Prilosec hasn't worked for me prior to surgery (for my GERD) and doesn't look to be working after surgery. Zegrid (which is Prilosec with a sodium bicarbonate) always worked the best. The problem...it is nearly an inch long! Not to mention, it is a capsule. So I can't break it.

Any suggestions? I am still getting some acid reflux and would really like to finally get this under control.

I've been taking giant pills since I had surgery. I think the capsules are actually better because they dissolve faster and aren't a big lump sitting in your stomach.

Capsules are your friend! I can easily swallow even large capsules (just take a sip of something to wet your mouth first) and absorb what's in them just fine.

Pills? If they're coated I have to grind them up - and they invariably taste vile. There's a reason for that coating. Sigh...
