Help with MFP please? :)

Hi all,
I have always tracked everything on SparkPeople.com (When I do it anyway, it's something I absolutely hate doing but I KNOW that I just need to suck it up and do it faithfully) But I have recently switched over to MFP. I finally figured out how to customize my own nutritional goals since the lowest it was giving me before was 1550 calories and if I ate that much I would pop. lol The question I have is when I add in my exercise it adjust my goal higher saying that I have earned extra calories because of my exercise, do any of you go by that or do you ignore it and stick to the original goal whether you've exercised or not? If it helps I do strength training 3 days a week and at least 60 minutes of cardio 6 days a week, my nutritional goals are 800 calories, protein. I havn't tracked in a while but I've done fairly good (so I think) at sticking to my goals but since I havn't tracked I don't know which is why I am starting again. Oh and I have very few friends on there so if your interested my user name is cncgutierrez.
Thank you in advance!

I ignore it and stick with my original goal. First, their calories for exercise are often absurdly high (I have a bodymedia fit that automatically synchs with mfp and I never "earn" as much as mfp would say I earned). Second, I'm TRYING to create more of a calorie deficit by working out, so why eat back those calories? As long as I hit my protein goal, I don't worry about it.
My user name is shrinking_sarah there as well. :)

I never eat my extra calories not that I even think I'm burning that much. Lol. I just like seeing them there. Always stay around 600 calorie range. My username is sphillygirll712. If anyone wants to add me feel free. I keep my diary open and always open to suggestions/help. I'm 3 months and 2 weeks out. 😄
