Hello All,

So I am just about 1 month out from surgery and I have to say that things have been going pretty good so far.  I am currently down 40 lbs from my highest weight and 28 lbs since surgery. So a little background on me:  I was in pretty good shape until I was injured during military service.  With that injury came stress from not being able to workout and move around like I use to which led to binge eating from stress.  Next thing I noticed I was 100 lbs overweight and morbidly obese, developed sleep apnea, high blood pressure, and serious pain in my back and legs.   Today I am very glad that I found the motivation to take this step towards wls and I feel that I have made the right decision because now I feel happier, healthier and more determined to finally leave the old me behind.

Peace,

Kev

Well done! I am a month out myself and you've done a lot better than me so far! I'm impressed with your focus. And I echo what the previous poster said, thank you for your service!
