I got my referral the last week of August. I have my first orientation tomorrow morning at "Oh God O'Clock". I am ready!
August 23rd 2013 I took my first pictures 232 lbs. Starting weight 235.8 lbs. I am 5' 4". ( idk how to upload pic here but I will figure it out eventualy )
I heard/ read that Kaiser Richmond is anti protein shakes and that I would need to follow the pre op diet and lose 10% of my weight. These are their rules. So i downloaded a binder from a couple years ago with their meal plan included. I have been following it to a T. Lost 11.8 lbs ( i think, not great at math here ) The scale said 224.0 this morning.
I walk ( power walk ) 2x daily for 45min. Keep my food calories under 1200. Drink 100+ oz of water daily.
I have a binder of my medical record, blood work and immunizations. Im up to date on everything.
Im so nervous they will find a reason I can't have a sleeve. I feel like tomorrow is Christmas and I asked for a very large extravagant gift.

What else do you do while you wait, right?
Plus I have watched the surgery on Youtube several times. If i didn't faint from blood, I'd like to think I could perform the surgery myself! Ha!
