So tomorrow will be the first time that I will be at a 5K event.  I have always wanted to but my weight kept me from doing it.  I am amazed and PROUD of myself.  There is no better feeling than getting healthy!  I am finally starting to enjoy life AWAY from the couch!

Lovin' this sleeve of mine!!!

Awesome!  I've found that "events" are highly motivating to me to keep up with my training.  Going to the gym just to go to the gym is great - but hard for me.  Having an event in the future makes me want to go and do what I need to do to get better/stronger/faster.

Good luck, enjoy!

Tom

Congrats!  I hope it goes well :)  I ran my first 5k in October and it was an amazing experience.  :)
