taste buds at nite

every other nite my taste buds get funky and things taste mucousy or thick salava.  Anyone else had this?

YUP! I had it, I think it's a combination of the early post op drugs and it also being difficult to stay hydrted. Once my stomach healed enough where I was able to swallow more than one sip at a time, and I was off the pain and nausea meds, this went away.

Sometimes the only thing that helps is to grab your toothbrush and brush your tongue clean. That worked temporarily to get the yuck out.
