Are RNYers allowed to take Midol? TMI.....probably
according to their website there are 3 formulations of midol (http://www.midol.com/why_midol.html)
one is ok for RNY: "Midol Complete". made with acetominophen, caffiene and pyrilamine maleate (a diuretic).
the other 2 are not: "midol extended relief" has naproxen, an NSAID; and "midol cramps and body aches" has ibuprofen, an NSAID.
might as well just get some generic acetominophen. save money. feel better.
edited to add: i just noticed that you're very early out. might want to check with surgeon's office first. at that point, mine advised me to use liquid tylenol.
