Reading all these posts about tummy tucks and what not. I've a feeling I'm going to have some extra skin to deal with eventually and think I might want to look into a tummy tuck. I know my insurance will only pay for it if I develop medical issues because of the extra skin. Can anyone give me a round figure of the cost of a tummy tuck? I'd like to start saving up.

The cost can vary widely depending on where you have it done and what you have done.  Come on over to the plastic surgery forum plastic surgery link hopefully.

You will see lots of options, costs in posts, and of course opinions.

I had a full tummy tuck (muscle repair, new belly button, hip to hip incision) in Southern AZ for 6,750.00 2 years ago.

It was outpatient in a surgical center with full nursing and anesthesia care.

I saw my surgeon for follow up at 1 day,1 week,1 month, and then at 6, 9, 12 months as part of my original cost.
