Avatar photo will not update.

I didn't want to clog up the thread section but I can't get this thing figured out. About 5 days ago I uploaded some photos and changed one to be my new avatar picture. It uploaded fine and shows as my photo every time I click on my avatar page thru my profile, however it doesn't show on my actual profile or when I post to threads. I'm thinking I'm missing something simple but can't find it.

It is me with my fish. I'm on my phone so I can't do the F5 trick. I'm gonna feel like an idiot if it's updated and just doesn't show me on my phone. Someone can delete this thread if it shows up as my fish and not my Bears symbol avatar. Sorry about that.

I tried that twice actually, still shows the Bears symbol for some reason. As long as it's updated I'm fine with that, it'll catch up eventually on my phone I'm sure. Thanks for the help! 

What type of phone are you using? I updated my avatar a few days ago and it's showing on the iPhone.  If you have an iPhone try rebooting the phone.  Hold down the on and off button and the center/bottom control button until you see the apple icon.

Let us know if you still can't see it.

I am using an HTC One M8 running Android software, as of right now it's still showing my old avatar after another sign in/out and a phone reboot.

Try what we call and hard refresh. ctrl +f5 and see if that helps. If not, let us know at [email protected]
