Surgery coming soon!!!

I have been on my journey for years and I'm finally almost there! I just have to get my psych eval, endocrine clearance, and my last weight management done!!! I'm so excited!!! This has been a long, long journey for me! I'm still having a little struggle with my diet but I'm determined to get it together! I'm on the road to becoming the best me!!! I'm a wife and a mother of six and I'm tired of not being happy! We deserve better!!! Currently about 320, highest weight was about 340 (during pregnancy), my goal weight is 180-210.

I am excited for you and you will feel so much better congratulations. But, let me caution you on one thing and some people may disagree, don't tie all your happiness up in this surgery. I do not regret having the surgery and it has made my life more manageable. I am able to do things I couldn't before and have a lot more fun, but I still found myself battling depression, sometimes even worse due to ancillary cir****tances in my life.

Didn't mean to rain your parade, but I always caution people about thinking that this surgery is a fix all. Good luck!

I definitely agree with you on that!!! I'm speaking more on the happiness of being healthier! For me, that's huge!!
