Sleep Apnea Test

Hello everyone! Well, one more test done and out of the way.I dont know how they could expect anyone to get a nights sleep being hooked up to all those wires and velcro'd across your waist and above your chest. I hope it comes back normal. It took me more than 2 hours to get to sleep. I had to ask them for a fan for some noise.

I havent heard anything back from Humber. My orientation was april 24th. Getting kinda frustrated and down. So I am trying to lose my weight naturally without having to have the surgery. Ivechanged my eating and exercise routine, REALLY look at what im eating now.

Ohmy good, I really did not like that test at all. I hope I dont ever have to do that again. LOL

Anyone else have the same reaction?

I'm with you I think the sleep study is one of the worse parts.  I was using a CPAP for over 4 years and greatful every morning for it.  It took me 5mons to get to orientation so what you are experiencing is normal.  Great idea on your part practicing healthy food habits.  It will serve you well and yes this whole process is a marathon and your life will go on and on and on...

A lot of the others are saying that they are about 5 months from orientation to appointments.  And it looks like they're booking the February 27th orientation people now. I was also at the April 24th orientation :-(  As for the sleep test, I totally agree with you!

I had the test twice. The first time they monitored me to see if I had sleep apnea. After I was diagnosed I had to return to have the CPAP machine titrated to find the pressure that works for me.
