Hello Fellow Ottawatonians....

Just wondering if there is any regular or occasional get together of Post / Pre OP folks in the Ottawa area?

Don't have  an answer to your question but will look to see if others do because I am in Lanark county--quick trip to Ottawa and would think this would be great to be part of if it exists.

I don't think there has been an informal group in Ottawa for a few years.  I'm pretty sure the WLC hosts one, but you'd have to call them to confirm that.

That being said, if there are a few Ottawa folks that would like to get together once in awhile, I'd be down with that!

I believe there is a group but they are quite secretive.  Someone on here was supposed to give me the info, but haven't heard anything yet.  

I Would be interested in a support group too.

I'm thinking an average of 3 operations a day, 11 months a year, there are a lot of us out there.

Perhaps it would be fun to plan something in September!

I will join in if something is planned, one can never have enough support or friends in the community!
