Surgery Friday, still in hospital
Ugh. Feeling ok I guess. No more pain meds but starting Sunday at 7 had some bleeding. Waiting to see surgery again this am. Nurse said not to surprised if I stay again tonight just to be safe. Jealous of the guy in the bed beside me though. Rolled in a couple hours after me (5pm) and home by noon the next day. Way to go! I'll get there I know but phew. I'm ready to skip ahead a few months!
1st referral-June 2014, sent back and resubmitted September 2014. Wrong referral-medical not surgical. December 22-Surgical Referral sent in.
March 2, 2015-Orientation session; April 8, 2015-Blood work completed; May 12, 2015-Intake appointment; July 24, 2015 Dietician/Behaviourist; August 26, 2015 Pre-surgery class; September 21, 2015 Meet the surgeon; SURGERY NOVEMBER 13, 2015

Recovery at home is going well. I am tired but only napped this am. Trying to make sure I sleep through the night. I am getting in 6 cups of fluids (not 8 yet). But find I have to remind myself to drink and sip. I am not hungry or thirsty. I am tracking my fluid because I am scared of getting dehydrated and having to go back into the hospital. Although they did take great care of me like everyone said they would. I go Monday the 23 of November for a follow up. Hope they like what they hear and see.
