Just had breast lift, tummy tuck, and medial thigh lift.

So, wanna know what is here to make it more "comfy":

On the TV Tray to my side:

Box of Kleenex
cup of Joe
Tall glass of ice water
Bible
lipstick
Cell Phone
Pain Med
Small bottle of perfume
Pack of sugar free gum

Next to me or with me in chair:
1st lined my recliner with a waterproof mattress pad
4 magazines / today's newspaper
1 large pillow for under knees
1 neck roll pillow (soooo nice to use to sleep with)
Fleece Blanket
old towel / 4 dry wash clothes (for seepage)
Obviously, laptop
Fluffy warm socks.

In a basket on the hearth high enough so not to bend too far:

makeup (oh, yes!)
Makeup remover
hat (does get chilly here)
CDs & DVD's I like

Thanks for the list.  Are you at home or in a hotel somewhere?  Are you chilly because of the surgery?  A hat is a really smart idea.  That would warm me up fast.

I'm at home. I'm chilly because I am borderline anemic, and with the blood loss from surgery, I get colder quicker. The room my recliner is in is mainly windows to the backyard; plus we have a very drafty fireplace. Plus, I love wearing hats anyway. Very few folks see me without a hat from October thru the end of February. (Cold Midwest).
