It just a tool, not a fix.
I have posted this before, but as I sit here recovering from spine surgery I have had more time to spend here and thought I would re-post my description of what RNY means to me.
IT'S JUST A TOOL!!!
The way I describe RNY is that it is a tool. You can own a hammer (the tool), but the hammer won't build you a house. You have to use the hammer and put in a lot of work to build the house (losing the weight). THEN, as all you homeowners know, you have to maintain that house. It is a lifetime of maintenance. If you let something go for too long, it is a bigger job to fix later. You have to pay the mortgage (eat right), pay the taxes (take your vitamins), mow the lawn (exercise) and all of the other responsibilities of home ownership. You have to take care of the tool.....
I love my "tool"
