Hot Cheese

I have seen multiple posts about hot cheese slices, but I have not a clue what they are or where to buy them....can you please enlighten me??? Sounds yummy!

You should be able to get it at any deli. I buy it all the time and there is also a packaged brand too. It's just hot pepper cheese. It is great.

Its usually called pepper jack and is available in the deli section of your super market.

haha...ok, thanks. I am familiar with Pepper Jack, but didn't know if there was a particular brand called "Hot Cheese" ...gotcha

I've wondered that too when I see the posts! lol

One day I was at Kroger and asked an employee what the difference is between the Kroger brand pepperjack and hot  pepper cheese, since they carry both, in blocks, not shredded.  She said the hot pepper cheese has jalepeno in it and is hotter.  I've now tried both and I like the hot pepper cheese better.  I break off a hunk and have it with wheat thins, preferably parmesean and basil wheat thins.  YUMMO!
