COUNTING DAYS

 I am 22 days away from my surgery. I have 1 week to the day of food before I start  my 2 week liver shrinkng liquid diet. Right now I am finding myself obssessing over food and wanting to EAT EVERYTHING...Dairy Queen, Basking Robbins, Sonics, Chili's, Applebees, McDonalds....buffet at the casinos....oh my goodness..I have lost 40 of my orignal pounds on my own but know I am gonna gain them back this week...I am not nervous or scared..just very emotional..and tired of people saying "Do you really need this? You doing so well on your own..blah blah blah"...I have no idea where I am going with this post..but just wanted to vent a little..so that is done..I will say bye.,...

I am glad that my clinic added Centrum Silver chewables to the vitamin list..now I can just pick everything up at Wal-mart..

Hi, sweetie! I am supposed to start my diet TOMORROW!!! I am so excited to start this part of my life. I too have been eating like there's no tomorrow, I have to get me some Taco Bell today because there's no way I'm eating THAT post op! I basically just wanted to respond with the message - you are not alone! My surgery is scheduled 6/7/11 and people just think that it's will power and that we could lose weight "the hard way" if we chose to! I know I can't, so I'm going with surgery.
I noticed you are from the 816, howdy neighbor! I'm from the 573 :) I live in Columbia! Where are you having surgery? Mine will be at the University. Maybe we can stay in touch and motivate one another :)

2nd YAY..I am not alone on this feeling that I need to eat EVERYTHING I think I will miss. I think that is what it boils down to. Hell, I even have plans to go to the casino next Sunday after church...can we say..I will be there for a minute cause there is no way I will be able to enjoy tht post op..lol
3. Yes I live in Riverside, Mo to be on the dot. I will be going to Saint Luke's Hospital with Dr. Sorrenson..on June 13th 10am..so sure we can keep in touch..maybe even when we both are able to drive meet halfway for a post op WE DID IT HUG..LOL..

your not alone my surgery is june 7th and all of the sudden i am craving junk food i never cared for sweets before guess its psycological but thanks for sharing thought it was only me feeling like this cant wait for june 7th!!!!!
