Hey guys just wanted to thank every one on here you guys are all great . I had my RNY on 12/20/2011, im down 100 pounds and feeling great and so many of you guys have help me along the way with advice and thoughts . Still cant eat chicken and eggs and very little pork wich i miss so much . my body is starting to look like it should with a shape and feels alot better .Ive been off all my meds and have been sence surgery just take my vits . life is going great .
Would stil like to find a support group close to lakewood colorado so if anyone knows of one please let me know. tahnk you all for all your help and support and a big thanks to my partner through all of this and my wonderful kids love you all . Troy

Congratulations on your success of losing 100 pounds!!
Both of my sons had surgery in December and they are like two different young men....enjoying life and having a ball. They too still have trouble with some things like chicken and some meat but I've been encouraging them to keep trying and just try small amounts at first. It gets easier the farther out you are.
I am a llittle over 2 years out and my daughter is just over 1 year out and I remember both of us not being able to eat chicken for the longest time. Now, I eat it about 3 times a week!

I am so greatful to have found OH. I'm having my surgery on 7/18. Reading about what you all have been through and the SUCCESS!!! well, it is simply amazing!!!! I'm so proud to be amoung you all.
