I've noticed since I had my RNY that when I go to the bathroom to have  BM that my legs or one of them gets tingly feeling like it is falling asleep. My friend who just had VSG said she has the same issue...is this normal? I don't remember if it happend pre o*****t. it also doesn't happen everytime but a lot of the time.

maybe it's because you are sitting on the toilet longer?

You don't mention how long since your surgery or how much weight you have lost. It might have to do with the nerves in your legs being closer to the thigh bones and being compressed against them as you are sitting on the toilet.

I had surgery  7-25-11. i'm 14 days out today. and I have lost 13 pounds since surgery. so i don't know what it is. I have lost more weight in my legs though.

It happens to me too! LOL I'm glad I'm not the only 1...I really don't know what it is either! But it's uncomfortable because I just want to hurry up & get up so that my leg or legs can come back to life! LOL...
