I am 2 wks out of surgery.  Nausea everyday, makes it difficult to chew vitamins.  I need vitamins that are not chewable any ideas?

I saw some Centrum liquid at Walmart yesterday.  I also take Vit D3 as a drop (it's tasteless) that I got at Vitamin Shoppe.

At my 6 week appointment, I got permission to just take regular pills/tabs.  It has been so much easier not tasting them.  I have not had issues with anything getting stuck.

I use the liquid vitamin noted on my profile page and the personal web site listed there. Many in my post op groups use the same product. It has a nutty berry flavor, 1T is the daily dosage. Or you could take all supplements in pilled form. Take them one at a time for the time being to ease any swallowing issues. DAVE

I know how you feel, I have chewable vitamins and they are big like horse pills.  I don't like chewing them so what I started doing was crush them up in a sandwich bag and put it in my protein shake.

If you can tolerate them, it's OK to swallow them (says the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery).

You could try ENS from Celebrate.  They have a drink mix that is kinda like one of those little individual servings of Crystal Light that is a multi plus 500 mg calcium.  They also have one that also has 25 grams of protein!

You could try Upcal D for calcium.  It's a powder you can mix with any drink and it has no taste.

You could do B12 shots or the nasal spray.
