The oddest thing.....

I am 4 months out and probably at month two when it was unbearably hot in Texas I started craving coffee. I am not a coffee drinker , except on occasion, I would get a Starbucks when it was freezing outside....like ony twice a year, that's it. Well, I started having these coffee cravings and now decaf coffee with non-fat milk is my new favorite thing (hot or iced). I have a delicious cup of decaf coffee/milk every day. Just had a Starbucks Decaf an hour ago. Yes, your tastes do change after surgery. It is the oddest thing....

Oh yeah. You are right. My tastes changed dramatically after surgery. I used to eat chili at least 4 times a week. Now I can't stand it. Used to hate red meat. Now one of the few foods I actually enjoy is a nice medium rare steak (or at least a slice LOL).
