Tingling in my thighs....Numbness
I had this exact problem. My belly was bearing down and pinching my "lateral femoral cutaneous nerve" which cause the outside of my thighs to be both numb and painful (like electric shocks) at the same time. Laying on my back made it worse, and sometimes it felt like my thighs were "unzipping" open. Laying and sleeping on my sides helped to reduce the inflammation. My belly has lost enough weight now, so it doesn't pinch anymore. From what I understand, this also can impact pregnant women. Anyway, take a look and see it this makes sense:
