Flaxseed Oil

I have really bad dry eyes and my eye doctor recommended taking flaxseed oil daily.  He said this may help.  Does anyone else take this?  What dose do you take? 

I took it preop, a tablespoon a day. However, I stopped taking it because I was afraid I'd malapsorb it. I eat flax seed instead now. Check with your surgeon and see what they think.

 My eyes are dry too, wonder if flaxseed oil really helps. Never heard of that. I would put a tbsp of flaxseed in my protein shake.
