Over 1 year yr out and a very personal NSV

I am a single person with no kids but have a very loving family with bunches of nieces and nephews.  Today my family and I were on an outing and my beautiful niece and I were talking and we were being very silly and hugging each other and I put my arms around her and hugged her hard and told her that I hoped that I don't break her little ribs of hers b/c I am squeezing so hard  b/c I loved her so much.... She, in turn, said the very same thing back to me and wrapped her arms ALL AROUND ME and squeezed HARD. 

Never before had she been able to that!!  She is a teeny little girl and she could wrap her arms around me.  A long time ago she drew a birthday card for me  and  on it she drew a picture of my family on it - being young and innocent, she drew a picture of me and I was HUGE - I guess because I was.....out of the mouth of babes....She had no idea what she did, but it broke my heart.  Today was totally different and a WONDERFUL NSV.

Second...you must be a wonderful aunt.  She is lucky.  Your NSV was beautiful.  I'm glad I read it this morning.

That's fantastic! I had something fairly similar happen to me recently. My best friend is literally a size 4 and always has been, and last week she hugged me good bye and got all excited at how much smaller I was already and had to hug me a second time. It was very rewarding so I know just how you're feeling! Yeah us!
