When do I stop losing wieght??
I'm in my 13th month post op, still losing weight, my goal was to lose 90 to 100 lbs, but I have lost 141 lbs, and still losing. started at 315 lbs now at 171 lbs. I look like shin and bones.
I eat 3 meals a day, take my protein 100 mg per day, take vitamins, even eat a little junk food now and then.
I beginning to worry, if something else is wrong. I feel great most of the time.
Has anyone else loss to much weight? or now do you put some on?
Thanks
Some folks do get below goal and then see some regain (or not, just depends). How tall are you? You might try adding a couple of high protein snacks in several times a day to increase your calorie intake.
I wouldn't worry unless you become malnourished or become underweight. If you are concerned, please call your surgeon or PCP to discuss a plan of action.

They say your body knows when to stop...my goal was 176lbs but my BMI says I should be 156lbs I am currently at 160lbs and still losing I am coming up to my 1yr surgerversary on Nov. 26!!! Mayb increase your protein shakes and protein intake...gain healthy weight and see what your BMI says you should be!
I was 435, I hit my 'realistic' goal of 190 at 9 months post op. Now 2.5 years out and after a lower body lift, I'm down to 160. I've been told I'm too thin and that I should try to gain weight ...I just dont know how. My doctors arent too concerned though as it was just a mention here and there, I'm on the high end of the "normal" range on the bmi charts so I'm happy
