Happy Friday Everybody!

Can't wait for the weekend to begin.  What a LONG WEEK!

Food for the day -

B - Steel cut oats/protein

L - Salad or protein bar

D - Grilled chicken w/veggies

Snacks - Greek yogurt, turkey bites

Lots of coffee, lots of water.

Doing: ran 3.1 miles at race pace (10 min/mile) WITHOUT pain in my toe, for the first time since the Half-Marathon! Rest of the day will be seeing clients and grocery shopping in the pm.... have ambitious plans to make Nik's protein banana bread!

Eating:

B- several cups of tea, banana, ham & string cheese

L - probably a protein shake, string cheese

D - either turkey or something.... haven't planned that far ahead....

I see a lot of you post that you drink a lot of coffee....is it decaf?? I am newly post op, so I am on decaf....but don't we always need to be careful and out hydration?

Early post op I did not drink caffeine.  I do now, but only in the am and then spend the rest of the day hydrating! Once your body is used to a certain amount of caffeine I don't think it dehydrates you any longer as your body only rids itself of so much water, of course I am not an expert and I wouldn't advise drinking caffeine in excess or early post op.

started my pre op diet today....so it's protein shakes and water for me...I have made it a whole 4 hrs now with no cheating! lol

Hello!

 

Haven't been on in a long, long time.  But here I am! 

PreB: coffee

B: click and whey

S: pop tart

L: chili

S: mini twix (yes, I have a terrible sweet tooth!!!!)

D: salad with all the fixings

S: popcorn and hot cocoa with whey

LOL!  I honestly don't know!  It just dawned on me today that I haven't been on in forever and thought I needed to check in (that and I finally got close to my goal weight and started some BAD habits!  Are you still running??  I am going to start again this weekend.  Haven't been exercising like I would like since Summer.  But I need to, it makes me feel soooo much better! 

How have you been???

Happy Friday dance!!!!

I go to the dentist this afternoon for a crown on my molar :( never had one before so I don't know what to expect.

 

B: 2 egg whites on a sandwich thin slice of light cheese

S: Banana, Cheese stick

L: Salad with grilled chicken

S: Apple and cottage cheese

D: Might just be a protein shake (if my tooth hurts)
