severe hunger pangs
I am 4 months out and have been having for 2 months now severe hunger pangs within 1-2 hours after a meal. sometimes when I start to eat it even gets worse. I dont get it. I eat protein first and get 60-70g/day. It seems like nothing stays with me. i end up grazing all day to keep the gnawing away and I know that is going to get me into trouble. My weight loss has practically stopped. In between meals i snack on yogurt, cheese, fruit, nuts. mealtime I eat meat and veggies sometimes a starch. I use one protein shake a day to ensure I get all my protein. i really would appreciate some help. I did just start taking prilosec in case its a acid thing.
I would try having a second protein shake, maybe as a snack in between meals. When I have a big pouch day or just feel snacky I tend to do the following things:
1. try drinking 20oz of water (still cant tell if I am hungry or thirsty its weird)
2. chew on ice - sometimes I just want to chew chew chew
3. Eat a bananna - they tend to fill me up
4. If i dont have any of those I eat an orange
5. raw carrots, or celerly are also a good cruchy snack for me a well as long as I have gotten my protein in.
