Congestion

I am fighting stuffy nose and congestion, just came home from hospital this afternoon. The hospital gave me IV Benadryl and I just took a half does of children's Benadryl. Any suggestions?

Why a half dose? I get it that you are taking children's because it is liquid, but I would think an adult would need a bigger dose.

I would check with the surgeon to see if it is okay, but I find that something like FLonax (spelling?) or even plain saline spray helps me with a stuffy nose more than anything else.

Benadryl is very drying.

Highest weight 245: 7/1/2015, RNY surgery on October 26th. Had multiple complications and follow up surgeries and stayed in hospital for 24 days. Goal weight is 140.
