The girl scouts were lined up outside of two stores. I gave each group five bucks to send the cookies to the troops. I know I would have been in a closet eating them. I totally know myself when it comes to them.

Growing it was a big deal to get Girl Scout cookies.

My niece and cousin's daughter are girl scouts, we ordered some from both.  My 4 kids and Hubby are all good with portions, and they like the cookies, so we got some.  I guess I am the only one that can't control herself.  ugh

I don't have little ones. Mine are 20 and 22 so if they buy something like that it has to be hidden.

Great idea to make a straight donation! I will copy that when the neighborhood kids start selling chocolate bars to raise funds for school trips.

I know I would have eaten them when I got in the car. The devil was on one shoulder and the angel on the other. I am so glad I didn't give in.

Growing up it was a major big deal when the cookies came out. We all went on a bender. It was all or nothing. So the bad habit is in the back of my mind when I see them.
