Good Morning! Happy Tuesday! Can anyone else relate to this cat? I don't know why he is reaching for the celery, though.

I am feeling a little blah today. I am a tad bit under the weather. My first day of being caffeine free went okay, but it didn't help the blah go away. Today I have a big meeting with the college President & Provost, so I am back on half-caf this morning, so that I don't fall asleep on him or sound too stupid. I think phase 2 of getting off caffeine will be no caffeine on WFH days. My gerd has been a lot better, though, so all the efforts are helping.

QOTD: Ok, now I need to know who among us can get up from the floor without using their hands? I don't think I probably could have before my sprained knee, but I was a lot closer than I am now. Bending the knee seems pretty integral to the process, no? Anyway, you guys have me intrigued and I want to try to work up to it.

Good mornin y'all. Hope today is a better day, the blahs are no fun.

I have an appointment with the dentist at 11:30. That's the only thing I have to do but I am unsure of my mom's plans. I know she is wanting to work on something in the yard that she'll need help on(putting a weed blocker barrier on a patch in the front).

QOTD: not with my back and shoulders messed up. I have a hard time with using my hands let alone without.

Quite possibly the best meme.

Just got home. Found out I have to have an alveoloplasty. Will have it done next Monday. Just blah.

Good morning and happy Tuesday!

Up at 130 am again today, not ideal but I got some reading done. Just about to jump on the rower and then do one of my weights sessions. Outside of work, today?s plans are up in the air due to some extreme weather today and tomorrow.

qotd - I can sit down and stand up with no hands, criss cross only, working on straight legs for both. I had to try after everyone was talking about it the other day!

coffee plus half and half X3

turkey and cheese sandwich

cheese stick

tbd on dinner depending on plans

have a terrific Tuesday!

Good morning, everybody!

So, remember when I said that I can't get off of the floor without using my hands?

I need to amend that.

Basically, left to my own devices, I am not clever enough to figure out how to get off of the floor without using my hands. Because, whenever I heard people talk about doing this, I thought they meant doing a deck squat. Which I can't do because my ankles do lack flexion. It's also why my squat isn't as deep as I would like it to be.

But after thinking about you guys busting off strings of deck squats on the floor with your animals, I re-read the posts and realized that I was over complicating things. Lie down on my back. Do a setup with my hands across my chest. Tuck my knee backward. Stand up. Makes a lot more sense now.

I guess that today is my hump day. Thursday and Friday I am off, so today in the office and then WFH tomorrow. We have been trying to resist the urge to seek daily updates from our son, but we are super curious about the remaining assignments. Hopefully he is done so that he can relax on Thursday.

Breakfast: Fritatta

Lunch: Chicken parm

Dinner: Enchiladas

Have a great day, all!

My PT person would beat me with a resistance band for using momentum. Or for "plopping."

Never thought to do it that way I get myself on my knees and go from there I might be able to do this. Not trying in my office I don't want to go through the wall.
