Oh snap,...A virus already???
Hey all, I'm 19 days out and ended up at the ER last night with SEVERE nausea. Checked the site last night as my heart rate was up (looks like I had a panic attack, too!) thinking maybe a leak. I know the biggest threat is up to 10 days out. All of my labs came back fine, so they didn't do an upper GI. My heart rate went down, too, once I got in and settled with fluids.
They couldn't get the nausea under control with zofran, so they added phenergan, plus a bag of IV fluids.
So, today, I have only gotten in 30g's of protein, maybe 20oz of fluid, and I am still super nauseated with the zofran and phenergan they sent me home on, and every sip produces gas. I feel like there is a ball in my tummy.
Anyone have a virus this soon out?
