Hiccups, Sneezes & Shivers, Oh my!

Oh it seems that me and my sleeve don't get along...
I have been hiccupping like crazy and it hurts, there is nothing I can do about it cause I usually drinks lots of water.... well with the sleeve... all I can do it sip.
Whenever I sneeze... which is alot lately, it feels like I have swallowed a grenade and it exploded. It hurts like hell.... ugh.
Then there is the shivering.... very sudden, full fledged teeth chattering, body shaking shiver sessions, the only way I can get rid of them is to curl up under the electric blanket.

Does anyone have any remedies for these little problems? Or do I just have to get used the unpleasantness?

No remedy from me - sorry!  For the sneeze make sure you brace yourself - hug your tummy (a pillow is useful for this).  It makes a huge difference for sneezing and coughing!  I get chills (no shivers) then hot.  I always check my temp (just incase), but it's always normal.  Just get under the covers when it happens.  It's lessened when I stopped the pain meds!

Hiccupping could be from gas generated by stomach acid.  Does your doctor have you on a PPI?  And the sneezing pain could be diaphragm pain from the gas.  It's what my stomach acid does to me when it flares up.  No help with the shivers, except take your temperature.  If you have a fever, call your doctor.
