i am sleeved and home!

still very very sore and not moving very fast at all.  extremely swollen and holding fluid in some odd ways, not a pretty sight.  So thrilled to be home, though.  Medical and nursing staff was great at UVA but had a double room and my room mate was psychotic.  Looking forward to a full night's sleep tonight without any screaming.  =)

Yay! I came home today as well.

how many days were you in the hospital?

My surgery was done around 1pm on Monday and I was discharged Wednesday morning at 11.

 I am in the same boat. Sleeved on Monday, home today, but very sore and swollen. And I'm 62,

hope you get some rest and get to feeling better, add me as a friend and keep me posted on your progress, was supposed to be sleeved today and it was cancelled...surgeon was sick so my new date is 12.12.11....good luck...

I'm getting sleeved on 12/12/11 too!!!  Which hospital in OH are you going?
