I'm scheduled to be sleeved on Dec. 27th, and my doctor wants me to lose another 9 lbs!  Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can lose these 9 lbs. before next Tuesday!!!  I tried walking, but it hurt my back and knees.  I had a double knee replacement, and slipped discs in my back.  So exercising is very hard for me right now!  It would kill me if I go in next Tuesday, and he turns me away because I didn't lose the weight!  I'm trying Lord knows I'm trying!!!

My pre-op diet - which worked very well for me -
2 liquid protein meal replacements
1 meal of any kind of canned soup
then - snacks of fat free cottage cheese and yogurt, sugar free pudding and popsickles - as much as I needed to be sated
Plus, drink at least 64 ozs. of water a day

You are getting good advice.  High protein, low cal, low carbs.  Don't worry about exercising right now - it won't make that much difference in a week.

You will have to burn like 4000 calories per day for the next 8 days. Unless you have a really high metabolism you will need to add some sort of exercise to help you burn needed calories even if you do a liquid diet.

You might want to try band resistance exercises focusing on your arms which should be less stress on your knees and back. Or water aerobics is an option if you have a membership to a gym with an indoor pool.
