Stall frustrations!
Ok, so I am 7 weeks out today, I went to my 6 week check up last week & the dr said that I needed to up my calories and my carbs (I was only getting around 250 calories and about 6 carbs a day). SO...........I have worked really hard to get the calories over 400 for the last couple of days. Here's my problem...........I keep gaining & losing the same 2 dang lbs & it's driving me NUTSO! I know that I have to just wait it out, I know, I know!
I was RIGHT where you were. As soon as I hit my five week mark I stopped losing. Up two, down two, over and over again. I went to the nutritionist last week, and she calculated I was getting about 200 calories a day and only about 20-30 grams of protein.
So, she moved me on to soft foods, and I started earing tuna salad. Holy smokes, there is SOOO much protein in such a little bit of tuna. In less than a week I lost five pounds!
So, keep getting those calories up and try to add more protein. If you can handle cottage cheese or soft meats, then see if you can have some. I think I am finally past my stall, and I am convinced it is because I upped my calories and protein.
