Ahead of Schedule-NSV (soft of)

Just had my 3 month check up and the doc told me that my weight loss was a ahead of schedule! He gave me some suggestions on my acid reflux to see if I can get off the PPI, but otherwise...all is good! I was even complimented by those in the waiting room going in for their first consultations. All in all..a good start for the day.

Congrats! That is great news. Curious about what he told you to do for reflux.

They originally had me on Prilosec. But I felt it wasn't working the way I wanted. So I stayed on it until I hit 2 months out and asked if I could go to Zegrid which is a large capsule. They said yes. That really helped. But my GERD did get a little worse after surgery that it was leaving me with Acid Throat every morning. So I started taking Zantac right before I fell asleep. Perfect combo.

But because PPIs have a long term effect on people, he suggested I try Zantac in the morning and one again at night to see if I can get off the Zegrid. If not, that is okay, but we will keep an eye out for any long term issues.
